Stopped by Newroz Kebabs with Iron Fist to grab some quick food before continuing on with our errands for the day. Giving into spontaneity and wanting to try something new, we headed into the place without so much as reading reviews beforehand, luckily we weren't disappointed.
Setup was simple, with a red black and white theme and a relatively simple no frills design that gives off a fast food feel.
We ordered at the counter. Other than Kebabs, they also had a selection of burgers, meat platters and seafood. Of course, we went for the Kebabs.
Between the two of us, we had two kebabs and two regular chips, which were freshly fried, super crispy and surprisingly large.
Iron Fist had the chicken kebab. He really enjoyed the well seasoned and tender chicken. Given the price, and the large portion he was given, it was quite good value for money.
I had the lamb kebab. For a kebab, it was quite good. The lamb was very caramelised with a delicious smokey taste, perhaps a little too much, but it was quite satisfying. The salads were also quite ample, generous and very fresh. The only thing I thought needed improvement was the fact that there was a little too much sauce on the kebab, otherwise it really hit the spot for us.
