Post lockdown, occasional day in the office. Decided to take a trek a little bit further than usual to source my caffeine for the day. Had heard about the hidden coffee shop in an alleyway along Mary Street which was quite popular so checked it out.
Even though it was fairly hidden, if you knew where to look, the sign is quite apparent.
Ordering at the counter, there were a couple of seats inside and I opted to enjoy my coffee there.
Getting the Ethiopian Batch Brew, it was definitely strong and lightly bitter with a good hit of caffeine. I liked the hints of honey and fruitiness to it, making it a really good brew to drink straight up.
Also had a croissant on the side. It was a little bit burnt and a little on the dry side but I still really enjoyed how flakey and layered it was.
