Sugo Mi Gelateria - Bulimba

"A day without dessert is a day wasted" according to Adam. After our delicious meal at Ginza House, we took full advantage of our positioning and went to get some gelato at the local favourite, Sugo Mi Gelateria, situated in a hidden laneway between the pizzeria and the post office.

Whilst the selection was moderate, nowhere near as much as what is on offer at other places like gelato messina, it had all the flavours that we loved. At $6.90 for two scoops, the prices were quite reasonable.

Portions were also fairly generous too.

Adam's pick of the night was peanut butter and toasted marshmallow. The peanut butter was rich and salty enough to balance out the sweetness with just enough texture from the crunchy peanuts. The toasted marshmallow also actually contained considerable amounts of caramelised marshmallow, which he really enjoyed.

I had the Matcha with White Chocolate and Very Chocolate (given no coffee options). I was pleased that the matcha wasn't overly sweet, despite the white chocolate elements, although the matcha could have been stronger. The chocolate was the best pick of the evening. Silky and smooth, it came with an intense chocolate taste which we adored.
