After our delicious meal at Broken Hearts Burger Club, we decided to head over to Lick Ice Cream next door to round off with a sweet dessert. Being quite a famous chain with several around Brisbane, it was my first experience and was keen to try out their offerings.
With quite a good selection of offerings their flavours were a bit different from the usual and there were a few other options in which to enjoy ice cream such as sandwiched between doughnuts or waffles. We stuck with the tried and true two scoop in a cup.
He had the Nutella and Cookies and Cream whilst I had the Coffee and Mint.
Both of ours were very large scoops, serving size was very generous. Across all four flavours, I found them to be very sweet. The coffee and mint flavours were quite mild but they were indeed very creamy. His cookies and cream and chocolate were a lot more strongly flavoured and enjoyable. Overall though, I think I prefer Italian gelato.
