With our early-ish flights on Day 4, we opted to get our breakfast the day before so that we didn't need to rush to grab food whilst hauling around our luggage. Having walked past The Dough Collective on numerous occasions before, the idea of Korean style buns rally captured our attention, especially with Queen V's love of Korean food.
Being used to the Hong Kong style bakeries such as Bread Top, the rustic and traditional styles of the bread was really quite refreshing for us. With a large selection of savory and sweet buns, we had a hard time making a decision.
So we grabbed a wooden platter and set off to choose our buns.
The cute mini buns definitely caught our attention. Especially with the 3 for $10 deal.
We ended up getting an assortment of Gangnam Crowns, which are a cheesy kimchi type of bun, a Pumpkin and Cream Cheese bun, which is shaped like a "w", a Cranberry Pull-apart, and of course my must have, Garlic Bread.
We found all of the buns to be soft and delicious as well as strongly seasoned without being overpowering.
