Teaser - Brisbane CBD

Another bubble tea store in the extremely saturated intersection of Elizabeth and Albert Streets meant yet another place for us to try out for some after work drinks. With the amount of options available within that couple hundred square metre block, it has given me a fair amount of decision anxiety when choosing where to go, with different stores being better at different types of bubble tea. I do miss the days of there only being a choice between cha time, gong cha and come buy. Having said that, today's adventure was at Teaser before dinner.

The menu comprised of your standard modern bubble tea options, with fruit teas, milk teas and yoghurts with an assortment of toppings. Compared with it's competition nearby, Teaser also offers a range of cakes to go with the drinks, notably from the Mountain River range.

Not wanting to ruin our appetites for dinner that night, we opted for two non milk based drinks, the Grape Quencher and the Orange Obsession. I liked that the grape quencher was well blended and didnt have copious amounts of chunky ice in the drink, the cheese foam on top was rich and smooth. My orange obsession was a little bland with quite a bit of artificial orange taste that overpowered the green tea flavours. There was also not much orange in the drink other than the super thin slice placed on the top.
